Entry into force the Agreement between Sri Lanka and the Philippines

on Waiver of Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Manila is pleased to inform the public that the Governments’ of Sri Lanka and the Philippines have completed its’ domestic requirements for entry into force the Agreement on the Waiver of Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports signed on 07th October 2016.

The Agreement shall entry into force with effect from 17th November 2017.

The Agreement facilitates the holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports of the two countries to enter and stay in the territory of either country up to thirty (30) days without having to obtain prior visa.
