Authentication of Documents
- Authentication of documents can be conducted if following requirement is fulfilled
- Certificates/Documents such as Birth, Marriage, Death and Educational issued by the relevant authority should be authenticated by Consular Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka
- Certificates/Documents issued by Philippine Authorities/Institute should be authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of the Philippines with red ribbon
Attestation of Documents by Justice of the Peace (JP)
- If a person needs to sign documents such as Power of Attorney or Affidavit before a JP, this service is available at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Manila
Requirements:
- Original document of Power Attorney or affidavit
- Letter of request
- Passport or National Identity Card in Sri Lanka
- Fees – Php 2,600.00
